GSC Guangxi plant is another major investment of GSC in 2019 in Xiangzhou, Guangxi, which is known as the hometown of barite in China. GSC's Guangxi plant, as a wholly foreign-owned enterprise with a total investment of 100 million dollars, covers a total area of 400 acres (266,000 square meters) and is located in Sanjiangkou Industrial Park, Laibin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. GSC Guangxi plant was evaluated as a major investment construction project at provincial level by the autonomous region in 2021, and selected as one of the fifth batch of 『Double Hundred and Double New』projects in the autonomous region. GSC Guangxi plant adopts the new Siemens DCS online digital control technology and a full set of imported equipment, introduces the industry-leading nanosizing homogenization management module, the brand-new air-flow pulverization system eliminates the hidden danger of non-pollution in the whole process, as well as the MVR steam recycling and reuse of high-efficiency and energy-saving technology; The particle size of the product is further compressed to 20nm, and the comprehensive and complete reactive surface treatment package modification process gives the product strong self-dispersing performance, which truly realizes the excellent transparent performance of the nanosized material at the application end. The product line of GSC’s Guangxi plant covers precipitated barium sulfate, synthetic barium sulfate, barium sulfate for surface treatment and by-products such as sodium sulfide, zinc sulfide, barium sulfide, barium carbonate and barium sulfate masterbatch in different specifications and models, and also builds the production facilities for natural barium sulfate, talc and other related peripheral products, with a total designed annual capacity of up to 350,000 tons, which is fully capable of providing one-stop solutions for barium salts and peripheral materials for the market of various industrial fields.
